  Don't want help trying on dresses and want to work with rude consultants? Then this is the place for you! We went to J&J's to try on bridesmaid dresses, which we made an appointment for weeks in advance. They were having a sale and were very busy. This wouldn't have been an issue, except we had to wait 30+ minutes for a room (and when we finally got one, all the girls had to share the same one), and no one offered to help us look for dresses, try them on or measure us. Thankfully, someone did eventually help pin the dresses up. However, she wasn't around to unpin me. I did say something to one of the consultants, and that only made the problem worse. They spent the rest of the time we were there talking about us behind the desk until we finally had to ASK to be measured. I know only two girls were working, but if you're having a sale, shouldn't you have more on the floor? Furthermore, why would you give preference to girls coming in to buy a prom dress on sale, verses someone who is planning a wedding and ready to spend thousands on a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, mother's dresses and tuxes?! Extremely poor customer service.
